(40th Eagles player)
Forward Aimee Schmidt was signed from GWS Giants ahead of the Eagles' third AFLW season.
GWS Giants career[]
Originally from Chittering via the Coastal Titans in the WAWFL, Schmidt joined the Giants for the inaugural AFLW season. She played 23 games for GWS over five seasons.
West Coast career[]
Schmidt joined West Coast in June 2021, with the Giants agreeing to let her return home as a restricted free agent. She slotted instantly into a struggling Eagles forward line, leading her new side's goalscoring in her first two seasons. Schmidt had a delayed start to 2023 with a quad injury and never really got going, managing just one goal from her seven games. She announced her retirement at the end of the season.
