Waalitj Marawar (West Coast) recorded a stirring come-from-behind win over Euro-Yroke (St Kilda), overrunning the Saints at Moorabbin during Indigenous Round to return home with the four points. The Eagles were solid for the first three quarters but unable to convert on the scoreboard. That changed in the final term when their pressure on the home side's defenders finally yielded results, kicking five goals to run away from the Saints. Ella Roberts put on another masterclass with 23 possessions and two final-quarter goals, and Jaide Britton had 21 touches and six tackles.

From the papers[]
The West Australian[]
"The Eagles ramped up their desperation in the third quarter, led by Roberts (who had nine disposals in the first term after the break) but execution continued to elude them.
They won the inside 50 count 12-6 in the third term, but could only muster one solitary point on the scoreboard while Wardlaw’s second goal of the game helped extend the Saints’ lead to 17 points at the final change.
Coming home with the wind, the Eagles once more ratcheted up their pressure at ground level and Kayla Dalgliesh’s early quarter goal gave West Coast a sniff to begin the final term.
Suddenly, the nervous Saints’ systems began to break down and Roberts kicked two either side of Thomas’ set-shot goal, before Dalgliesh put the icing on the cake with her second of the term."[1]
